More Winter in Spring

So the extreme cold weather stayed and it looks like Santa will be bringing the Easter eggs instead of the rabbit, haha~ I just need to write about this in my blog because such a thing has never occurred in my life so far and I want to remember this extreme cold spring.

Yesterday.

Today.

It was snowing all day today. I didn't need my boots during all last winter, but I had to wear them today. We never had this much snow last winter. It's crazy. @___@ What's going to happen to all those tiny little leaves and flowers that were already out? Most of them probably froze. Poor things...

I've been pretty busy this week and haven't had much time to draw. But I had an appointment on Monday and had a bit of time before I had to go, so I decided to doodle some stupid random things while waiting for time to pass.

I was high on some sickeningly sweet waka!Sinbad + child!Ja'far doujinshis, so I ended up doing an entire sketchdump of them. They are all very fast scribbly things, though. I thought child Ja'far would be really difficult to draw, but he emotes so well. XD There's only like 4 years of age difference between these two, but it usually seems to be more on fanarts. Ja'far is so small and baby-faced.

And now I promise myself that I will draw tomorrow. MUST WORK ON COMMISSIONS or do Pandora Hearts fanart. I really should finish something worth to submit to my deviantART gallery...

Winter in March

We had snowstorms where I live last weekend. O___o It started snowing on the afternoon of March 14 and then it kept snowing for almost an entire day. The snow didn't melt right away and it was still cold and windy even today. A snowy March 15 like this has never happened in my life before and I heard the last one before this happened when my mother was still a kid. Nature is not fooled, though. The blackbirds sing in the morning and evening and small leaves and flowers began growing everywhere.

Anyway, Pandora Hearts Retrace 82 came out yesterday. It's 65 pages. It's beautiful. This series never ceases to amaze me. It's so cute, emotional, exciting and bloody dark and tragic at the same time. I love Oscar so damn much. I've loved him from the beginning, but at first I didn't expect Jun would give him any special attention or character development or anything. I thought he'd only be this random funny uncle, who won't have much purpose in the story other than being a minor comic relief character. Well, I was wrong. Oscar is a great character like everyone else.

I did so many super fast PH scribbles in the past 1-2 days. @___@

I think I'm crazy... Anyway, I'd better go to sleep now. I'll work on my Pandora Hearts sketches tomorrow.
