More PH again...

The reason I haven't been updating this blog that much lately is that I haven't been doing too many new sketches, I either just finished old stuff or posted on deviantART right away. But I did some more Pandora Hearts doodles! 8D (Geez, I'm seriously obsessed. Like... never before. Even my FMA obsession wasn't this intense.)

Elliot and Leo. To tell the truth, when these two first appeared in the story, I thought they were sort of cliché and uninteresting, but later on, they proved that they were amazing too.

XDDD Lolwut. This is Alice about to bite Gil's ear. I cracked up when Alice was chasing Gilbert in chapter 62 and I wanted to draw Gil with a stupid expression, so this quick doodle was born.

Finally, here's a sketch I made in February. I just refined it and slapped some colours on it yesterday. Originally, it was not going to be Gil, but then I was like "fffff why not?". I don't really like this because there seems to be something off about his face and I can't make the hair look right when I draw characters lying down. Also, the full picture is bigger, but I think his arms turned out a bit short. Meh.

Okay, now that I did some quick doodles, I can go back to work on my next big pic! Yay~~~

More Pandora Hearts doodles

I'm so obsessed with Pandora Hearts it's not even funny. D: I'm currently trying to fix that goddamn picture of Alice, Oz and Gil, it's taking me freaking forever. I'll probably just get sick of it and finish quickly. Anyway, I did some other doodles too.

Team Baskerville vs Team Vessalius. *shot* I started sketching this yesterday when I was listening to songs from Fiction II on YouTube. I think MochiJun loves dark/blond pairs as much as I do. :B I guess browsing all the cool art on Pixiv makes me want to do more complex pics and improve... I mean when did I do a composition like this before? Oz and Jack look weird here, they are hard for me to draw.

100% size close-up of Vincent from that sketch. It's HUGE. If I finish this, it will eat up all of my system memory, lol. It's just a quick sketch and it's already like 11 MB...

Not much for now. I should draw something for a contest and also something for Royai day...

So cute! The goldfinches and greenfinches still come here to my window and they are here until about 20:20. Call me insane, but I think there is something magical in this. My computer is next to the window and the weather got hot, so my window is open. And birds who normally don't go near humans are eating there, so close where I could reach out and touch them if they weren't scared of me. There's only a semi-transparent curtain between us.

I saw something about Yuki Kajiura's new Fiction II album on Jun Mochizuki's blog a while ago, but for some reason, I wasn't very interested in this album. I thought it had mostly just new versions of anime songs I already know and have and assumed the original songs would be way too corny even for me. However, I still listened to some songs of it yesterday and today and oh wow, it's beautiful! :O It really is corny, but I ended up loving most of the new original songs and even some of the recycled anime songs are better than the originals. This woman's music is magic.

Birds, Pandora Hearts 61 and others

It's raining. We've had storms every day since Saturday. At least the weather isn't so hot all the time. The baby chickadees finally came to my window this morning. We have sparrows, chickadees, goldfinches and greenfinches. They come more often now than they did during winter. Even a woodpecker came once. XD
My budgie became unusually tame in the past few months. He somehow accepted me and he likes coming out of his cage now. He used to be so scared for almost 2 years, no matter how I tried taming him. And now he wants to rape my hand. XDDD

I drew this in like 1-2 minutes, lol. It sucks.

This is supposed to be Vincent, but his face and hair are so NOT Jun Mochizuki-ish. It turned out too much like my own style, I think. All I want to draw right now are crappy EMO SHOUJO pics of Vincent. Bleh. I drew this instead of doing a Fullmetal Alchemist meme.

Also, the last few pics were drawn while listening to Yuki Kajiura's Aquarian Age OST. I'm obsessed with Yuki Kajiura music again. (Or still?) I have collected a bunch of Yuki Kajiura OSTs by now. The only ones I don't have now might be the dot hack musics that aren't SIGN, Petit Cosette and Madoka Magica, which should be released in a few days or maybe it's already out.

Just a random character I sketched a few days ago~~

Gilbert and Vincent from Pandora Hearts. I drew this today afternoon in a few minutes just for random practice. Have I ever mentioned that Gil is ridiculously easy for me to draw? 8D I love their "cube" hair, lol. And angry Vincent is a rare sight.

Anyway, I'm still working on the Alice shimeji, it's about 50% done now, though the harder animations will come just after the first half...

Awwwh f**k!! That small apartment-like place on top of our house (it's sort of like an attic, but it's not) was sold! I've always fantasized about that place and wanted to go there ever since I was a little kid, but now I never will. Nooo!! We should have bought it. My mother knew it was being sold and she didn't tell me! Apparently, it's just a small room with a bathroom, but but but... it would have been perfect for me to start separating myself from my parents and start living alone. And it was so cheap I could have bought it from my spare money. Nobody has lived there before, but now the owners of the block decided to sell it. And these strange people bought it, we are scared of them. If I suddenly disappear in the near future, it will probably be because they robbed us and took the computer... -___-; Oh well, it's no use crying over spilt milk...

I just rediscovered the Tsubasa Chronicle Future Soundscape OST again and "Hear Our Prayer" is such a beautiful song, I love it so much!

Quick doodles + Shimeji preview

Oh hai! Long time no blog entry. I've been mostly just finishing older stuff and posting things to DA and working on my Alice shimeji. Anyway, here are a few sketches I did in a few minutes before going to sleep:

Vincent and Echo from Pandora Hearts. This is an actual scene from the manga/anime and I've always found it disturbing somehow... 8D;;; I kinda like their faces and Vince's right hand here.

Hiver Laurant from Sound Horizon's Roman album. I like the designs of most SH characters, I especially like the characters from Roman and Marchen because of their gothic feel. I drew this in like 5 minutes or even less, lol. I was browsing Pixiv and it inspired me.

Nothing special, just a random boy. I like to draw faces. 8D

And this is a screenshot of testing my Alice shimeji. It's about 40% done at the moment. I've been working mostly on this lately. This thing is freaking time-consuming and I'm actually detailing and shading every single image. I'm a masochist. When I draw them from scratch, one takes me about 30 minutes to draw. The ones where I just have to modify a few things don't take me so long, but still, 46 images, that's 23 hours in total if I count 30 minutes for each one... @___@ *runs off to work on this some more*

I'm inspired again! 8D

So yeah, I had a terrible artist's block, but I've been drawing some things again.

I really should have finished this by now. I've been sitting on it for almost a month. ^^; The hands are still crap, but I'm trying to improve~~

Random doodle. Just trying to practice kisses and hands. Referenced from a manga.

This is what happens when random inspiration strikes. My newest original character. I was inspired by Katie's cat girl. About 90% of my random characters are boys. I just find them easier to draw than girls. I don't like furries, but I sometimes like humanoid characters with strange ears and tails and shit. Ears can help enhancing the character's emotions. This is the first time I've drawn a character with doggy legs. Would he look better with normal human legs? Hmm...

Well, I guess I should continue working on that first WIP now. I've been listening to a lot of Yuki Kajiura music again, I just can't get enough of it. I also realized that I still don't have all the songs from the Tsubasa Chronicle OST. HUGE MISTAKE!

How I drew as a kid? + Alice shimeji?

I found an old CD I made in 2004 when I was scanning a lot of my old drawings and getting rid of the originals. Let's post some drawings from it! 8D

I'm still proud of this. XD I was in 3rd or 4th grade when I drew it (I was about 9-10). It's supposed to be an illustration for a Hungarian folk tale. I think we had to draw the beginning and the ending in a two-panel comic like picture. The one who did the outlining with markers as a finishing touch was my mother.

I guess this is from about the same time as the previous one, though a bit later. This was my "let's copy Disney" era. This is Bambi. But I also learned to draw relatively decent dogs thanks to Lady and the Tramp. I never drew human characters, though. I simply hated drawing them.

I drew this in 3rd grade. I always had trouble with drawing noses and there was a time when I simply didn't draw noses at all. XD I think I must have copied that bird from something, it's too good, lol.

This one is from a series I drew in a notebook in 1997. Picúr, a stray dog who lived near our park and we used to feed him. He/She was a young dog and was there for long months. My best friend and I played with him/her a lot, it was almost like having a dog for real. Good times.

This is from around 5th-6th grade, I think. My animals began developing personalities at that time.

From the same time as the previous dog. I was also a big fan of horses aside from dogs. I drew dogs and horses most of the time.

Okay, that's enough for now. I have a few even older things I wanted to upload, but the files are too big and I'm too lazy to resize them right now. So, that's how I drew as a child. People said I was good. I usually had to enter different competitions and I actually won some prizes. My first success was getting 2nd place at the local art contest in my school as a 2nd grader (I was only 7 or 8).

ANYWAY, I randomly decided to make a shimeji ("desktop buddy") today. I wanna do Alice from Pandora Hearts. 8D I'm not sure if I'm gonna finish it, because it seems pretty darn time-consuming, but I'll try.
