I'd like to apologize to everyone who I promised a drawing to. I know I shouldn't be working on this, but I really enjoy working on it~~ Gaaah!!

Anywho, I just wanted to write a bit more "personal" blog entry here. I was browsing my photos on my computer today and decided to upload a few since I promised KGX347 that I would post something of the place where I live and stuff.

View from my window. I took this photo last summer. I live in the Southern outskirt area of the capital city. I really love living there.

This is a photo I took in the local cemetery sometime in September. In Hungary, the last few days of October and beginning of November is the main time of the year when families visit the graves of their deceased relatives and friends and mourn together. I didn't really care about this tradition before, but I've been visiting the cemetery quite often since grandmother died.

My current favourite bird in my window, haha. Isn't it cute? It's so tiny!

This is an old photo I took about 3 years ago. That's my hand and my talking budgerigar, Dani. He seems to be fascinated by that peach drink. XD Aw, I miss him.

This is also Dani with my cat, Panka. They tolerated each other surprisingly well. Photo from 2007.

This is how close they were. They even ate together. That bird was incredible. When he didn't find an available human he could bother, he went to bother the cat. It's a miracle the cat never tried to hurt him.

Okay, so that's all~ The last 3 photos were taken with my old camera, so the quality isn't that good. I posted these old photos, because I wasn't even aware they were still on my PC and it was a nice surprise when I rediscovered them today. ^___^

Lalala~ Guess what! I finally managed to produce a few sketches I consider decent enough to post! Woo!

Yes! It's my OTP, Roy and Riza from Fullmetal Alchemist. Pose was inspired by this Tiger & Bunny fanart. I think I'm a sucker for dark + blond pairs. :B

And this is my psycho OTP, Vincent and Lotti. XD I started drawing this yesterday, but it was only Lotti at first. Then I kept changing the pose and adding things today. Actually, I kinda like this even though it's still very rough and there are lots mistakes.

Also, I'm working on the 150 k kiriban request, but I can't get the poses/characters right... I really want to finish it soon, but a pic of 3 characters is a bit hard for me. TT___TT

Btw, I keep hearing everywhere how good Pendulum is. So I tried getting into this music. I usually like any kind of music from classical-ish to heavy metal. But... Pendulum is just... "too techno" for me, ugh... @___@

Some PH 65 sketches

According to the weather forecast, today might have been the last day of this elongated summer. So the weather has been wonderful and everything should be great, but I'm feeling kind of crappy for no particular reason. I just don't feel like drawing things. I decide I will draw in the morning, and then waste my time in many ways all day and end up not even touching my tablet by the end of the day.
I've been watching a lot of anime and reading a lot of manga lately (I read like 15 volumes during last weekend and Monday). I know I should be doing better things, but my head gets filled of dark unnecessary thoughts otherwise. I wrote a few things about my impressions of the series I watched, but I don't wanna post it here now.

Gil. I put this on my Pandora Hearts meme, but I actually drew this sketch separately. I attempted to draw many things inspired by chapter 65, but they sucked.

Glen + bitty Gil. Actually, I kinda like this one, though Gil didn't turn out small enough, lol. And it's anime!Glen. XD His outfit looks a bit different in the manga, but I like how they added those swirly pattern things on it in the anime artbook concepts. I might change it if I finish this, but I still like this design better. XD;

Aaand, not my drawing, but I collected a few scenes from the PH manga where Vincent uses his left hand to convince people who claim he's right-handed, cuz the anime illustrators screwed up on one pic. (Btw, Mochizuki herself screwed it up at one scene, when Gil takes the gun from Vincent in chapter 59, it's like - Vince aims with his left, then Gil grabs his RIGHT, then it's left again on the next panel. And I think Mochizuki must be right-handed, cuz she prefers to draw characters facing left, lolz.)

Goodbye Marci

 So I lost my 4th budgie today. This morning, mom wanted to play with him and took him out of his cage, but he got scared and flew into the big room where the window was slightly open. He normally never flew there, so mom wasn't careful enough. Then we tried to follow him for hours, we took his cage, took two ladders because he was on a nearby tree at reachable height, I kept calling him and did everything I could, but still... Before I lost sight of him, I managed to get so close to him I could reach him with my hand. I tried to slowly reach my hand up to him, but he got scared and flew away. That was the last time I saw him.
I had him for only 2 years. My younger aunt brought him to us in September 2 years ago, after my grandmother passed away and our previous budgie died because of some kind of tumour earlier in the same year. He was very wild and scared in the first year, but then he started growing attached to me. He liked only me, just like my first budgie. It was only during this last spring, when he started becoming tame. In fact, it was only a few weeks ago, when he became brave enough to freely come out and go back to his cage. He learned to fly on my hand when I called him. He couldn't talk, but we taught him to "give kisses" and he usually started doing it when he saw me, haha! He was also chirping and chattering in his own bird language a lot, it somehow made the apartment more cheerful. He was really cute and I started growing attached to him too. But now I hate myself for taming him this much. It hurts, I feel this empty space inside that hurts. I keep thinking that he's now very scared, hungry and lost and he will die miserably either starved to death, frozen to death or killed by a cat and I'm unable to do anything for him... Marci, you stupid, stupid little bird. You were always so stupid. I can only hope now that you won't have to suffer too much.
I'll get over it, but I feel horrible right now.

Some semirealism-ish stuff

Anyone remembers that random guy I doodled back in March? Well, I found it again and decided to work on it a bit, but got bored of it again...

And then I started another one today. I just did the skin, it was without eyes and hair when my mother saw it and she said it looked like Gil from PH or his brother. o___o So, I made it look like Vincent, heheh~ I don't think it looks that much like him, though:

Ah, well, I knew that as soon as I start doing requests on DA, I'd suddenly want to work on 5000 other things. I guess I'll be hyperactive artistically this week. Should I refine/finish that Vincent one? 8D

Lots of doodles

I was too lazy to post more stuff in August. D: But I did do a bunch of doodles. Here are some quick sketches:

This is the very first WIP I did for a commissioned piece. I did 2 rough sketch layers for the characters, this is already the 3rd lineart layer. Actually, I think this is the first time I succeeded at drawing 3 sitting characters next to each other without using references. XD;

Little Vincent from Pandora Hearts. I dunno where this style came from, hahaha. Just wanted to upload this, cuz I think it's funny for some reason.

Quick sketch of Jizabel/Jezebel Disraeli from Hakushaku Cain + Godchild. I'd like to do some good fanart of him one day, he's my fave character from that series.

Just having fun with random expressions and faces and stuff. Random characters.

This is my OC, Alec's nameless older brother. I created him around 2005, but he wasn't a very important character, so I didn't really care about him. Lately, I decided to redesign him and now he's starting to look like a cliché villain, yay...

This one sucks, haha. It's supposed to be Break from Pandora Hearts. I once saw a fanart of an anime character tied to a bed like this and I've been wanting to draw something similar since then. XD I didn't draw his seal, cuz I was too lazy to look up references and it's just a doodle anyway. I wanted to put Sharon's shadow or something there, but it sucked. XD;

Xerxes Break again. Very fast sketch, that turned out relatively well.

Lol. I found the translation of "Vincent's Gilbert observation diary" (an extra thingy from the manga guidebook) a while ago and the first entry started like this: "Gilbert drank a lot again tonight..." I had to draw something, ahaha. XDD Their arms are probably weird, but I kinda like this sketch anyway.

Elliot. I wanted to draw some cute happy sketch of him. I have a commission to do with him and Gil and I haven't drawn Elliot that many times yet. His hair is a bit tricky to draw. I may put this up on DA after some refining.

Anyway, nothing worthy to mention has been happening to me. I don't even watch anime or read manga right now aside from the ongoing series I follow. As for music inspiration, I got into Deep Forest a while ago. I love listening to this kind of music while I draw. And this song always cheers me up:
